Today's read aloud

Today I posted the following prompt on the board before I started reading Kingdom Keepers (authored by Ridley Pearson who spoke at the GT conference):
"As you hear powerful words or phrases write them here..."
This class never ceases to amaze me! They filled the entire board with the rich vocabulary they heard!

After school some of the teachers took a tour of Quatrix an aquaponics facility in Laporte. I am looking forward to once this becomes a reality at Bennett!

NAGC Conference

Another great day at the conference! I absolutely loved the inspiring advice from Ridley Pearson author of Kingdom Keepers! The sessions have been fantastic and it is truly amazing to be surrounded by so many great minds who are passionate about our field!

Partial products multiplication

I know they have it when they can teach it! :). Everyone volunteered (or was asked to take a risk) today! I love partial products multiplication. if you have never used it ask your child to teach it to you!
